The 2015 Hadleigh Christmas Lights

On Saturday 5th December, the community met as darkness fell, next to St. James the Less Church, to turn on the lights on the Christmas tree. Led by the Reverend David Childs, with accompaniment by David Hurrell’s merry group of brass players, carols and Christmas songs were sung and the lights switched on, with a few words from the Mayor and hundreds of Hadleigh folk present.

All ages enjoyed the occasion and the mince pies in the Church afterwards.

How good it feels to be part of such a community.

Well done the Rotary Club, the Council, the Church and the players.
