Hadleigh & Thundersley Archive gave a slideshow presentation at the Hadleigh Old Fire Station on 5 June 2016. (A limited quality copy of the presentation can be viewed by clicking on the start arrow to the right and on the right hand icon below the viewing window to view full screen).

This was part of a Vintage Car event organised by HOFS which had the fortune of bright warm sunshine in which to view a fire appliance and a range of vintage cars in the car park, all accompanied by splended music.

The pictures in the slideshow were mainly taken from two books published by the Archive and available from local book sellers. (Click the links below to find out more about the books):

Robert Hallmann’s History of Thundersley and Daws Heath

and
Hadleigh Postcard Memories by Robert Nichols

There is also a download link below to view better quality excerpts from the slideshow. If you recognise the make and model of any of the vehicles or who the individuals are in the photos, please send in your comments.
