All Our Stories - Sound Recorder Training

Studio 13 HOFS - 7th January 2013

As part of the All Our Stories project, volunteers with Hadleigh and Thundersley Community Archive undertake various training programmes, as and when appropriate.  More details of this project can be seen in an informal look behind the scenes, by going to our blog site here.

Today, 7th January 2013, David Hurrell, Terry Barclay and myself had an introductory lesson in using our new Sound Recorders.  It is hoped that the new equipment will assist us in documenting the lives of Hadleigh residents, through interviews, which we can then share with a wider audience.

Stuart Bowditch, who has worked with the Archive on a previous HLF-funded project, Team Hadleigh, offered friendly and helpful advice on both recording and editing, in our office at Hadleigh Old Fire Station.

Many thanks to Stuart for his help.      Here is the Team Hadleigh page.
