Bluebells in Pound Wood

Terry Barclay
Pound Wood

I’m no photographer, but it was uplifting to see the bluebells in Pound Wood in the second half of April last weekend.

Such a lovely place to walk and no doubt full of long forgotten history. See www.poundwood.org.uk.

I’m not surprised that the Essex Wildlife Trust organise a “Bluebell Day” there every year, which for 2014 is on Sunday 27 April from 12 to 5pm at St Michael’s.
